December 2025:
- Enrollment projections are updated for 2025–26 and beyond
- Depts./Buildings receive planning documents
January 2026:
- Tuesday, January 27 – Budget Presentation 1
February 2026:
- Tuesday, February 24 – Budget Presentation 2
March 2026:
- Tuesday, March 1 – Tax Levy Limit Calculation to NYS Comptroller
- Tuesday, March 10 – Superintendent’s Proposed Budget
- Wednesday, March 11 – Budget Workshop #1 at RJB
- Tuesday, March 24 – Budget Presentation 3
April 2026:
- Thursday, April 2 – Legal Notice #1 of School Budget Hearing and Vote
- Thursday, April 16 – Legal Notice #2 of School Budget Hearing and Vote
- Monday, April 20 – Deadline for Candidate Ballots and Petitions, 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 21 – Budget Presentation 4
Anticipated Adoption of Budget & Property Tax Report Card - Tuesday, April 21 – Property Tax Report Card & Budget Adoption deadline
- Wednesday, April 22 – Property Tax Report Card due date
- Wednesday, April 22 – Budget Available for Public Review (website, library, schools)
- Monday, April 27 – Budget Workshop #2 at WMHS, Innovation Lab
- Thursday, April 30 – Legal Notice #3 of School Budget Hearing and Vote
May 2026:
- Tuesday, May 5 – Budget Hearing & Board of Education Meeting
- Wednesday, May 6 – Budget Newsletter (includes Budget Notice) mailed to residents
- Monday, May 12 – Budget Workshop #3, at RJB, Library
- Wednesday, May 13 – Last Day for Clerk to mail out an Absentee Ballot
- Thursday, May 14 – Last Day to Register to Vote with District Clerk
- Thursday, May 14 – Legal Notice #4 of School Budget Hearing and Vote
- Tuesday, May 19 – Annual Meeting and Budget Vote, 7 a.m.–9 p.m.
All Absentee Ballots must be received by 5 p.m.
