Erin Jacobsen
Current Term of Office: July 1, 2023–June 30, 2026
Family: I live in Hartsdale with my husband, Eric, and two daughters (they attend HV and RJB).
Occupation: I work part time in my private practice as a licensed Art Therapist.
Community Involvement: I’ve volunteered with the district since 2018 through various positions on the PTA, the Education, Wellness, and Technology Committees, and as the parent representative for the district’s Social Emotional Learning Committee.
Why did you run? I ran to advocate for the physical, mental, and social health of our students, staff, and community. Health across these domains leads to improved communication within, between, and beyond each school building. It streamlines processes that allow district leaders to utilize funding for programming, creative learning approaches, and structural solutions to the district’s facilities problems. It enhances the health and safety of our district in order to offer the most learning-conducive environment and increased positive outcomes for GCSD.
