I have been a reading teacher at R.J. Bailey for the past ten years, however, this is my 20th year of teaching.  I am trained in Orton Gillingham and am a Level 1 Wilson Certified Teacher. I am currently working on my level 2 certification.  Helping students who are struggling to decode and read with fluency is my specialty.  I am a certified Wilson Facilitator here at R.J Bailey.   The district has invested in this program called Wilson Just Words which helps students that have some deficits in spelling and may struggle with fluency.  

This year I am focused on teaching a tier 3 intervention called Wilson Reading. This is a multi-sensory program that helps students develop their fluency in reading and spelling.
