The exciting introductory course is open to all who wish to communicate with native speakers of the world's most commonly spoken language! You will practice the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and also explore the culture of one of the world's oldest continuous civilizations. Unlike traditional grammar-based lecturing instruction, this course is featured by a student-centered, teacher-directed, practice-intensified, and project-based learning process. Welcome to this colorful language and cultural journey.
Regarding My background, I have two MA and one BA at the field of Chinese education. Not only do I have a strong will to pursue academic excellence in the content area through attending the top-notch international conferences and publishing papers in core academic journals, but I am also a pedagogical enthusiast experimenting the better way to teach the content in dynamic and challenging settings. I have experience teaching from elementary to college level nationally and internationally, including seven school districts in U.S. and two universities. It is my great pleasure to serve you as a tour guide in this cultural and language trip to China from past to present.
