Hundreds Enjoy Greenburgh School District’s Summer Night of Fun

From the Early Childhood Program (ECP) to Woodlands Middle High School (WMHS), the District welcomed over 325 enthusiastic adults and children to its Summer Night of Fun event this week.

From the moment attendees arrived, they were greeted by District staff who oversaw an array of engaging activities. Children and adults worked side by side to decorate water bottles, craft Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) globes, make trail mix recipes, personalize journals, and dive into captivating STEM activities. Participants will likely say that the highlight of the evening was the spirited kickball game that brought together ‘kids’ of all ages for friendly competition and boundless laughter.

The District was also happy to welcome representatives from the Greenburgh Public Library who shared information about the diverse and enriching events taking place at the library this summer. This collaborative effort further emphasized the community's commitment to providing opportunities for growth, learning, and enjoyment for all its members.

The successful Summer Night of Fun would not have been possible without the dedication and support of all who planned and attended, including many PTA members. GCSD extends heartfelt gratitude to each participant, staff member, and community partner. The event serves as a reminder of the strength and unity that binds the Greenburgh community together and the excitement that summertime holds for all.
