This week, we join schools across the nation in recognizing National School Bus Safety Week, a time to raise awareness about the importance of keeping our students safe as they travel to and from school.
At Greenburgh Central, we remind everyone that safety starts with awareness:
• STOP for flashing red lights, it’s the law.
• STAY alert in school zones and near bus stops.
• TEACH children to look both ways and wait for the driver’s signal before crossing.
Each school building supplements these guidelines to meet their specific needs, so please check in with your child’s school for more ways to stay safe!
