Last Saturday, May 9, the Woodlands Girls Flag Football Team powered through the rain and came away with a dominant 33–7 win over Ardsley High School Girls Flag Football.
Offensively, Avionna Moore led the charge with 3 rushing touchdowns and 2 passing touchdowns. Julissa Moore added a touchdown reception to keep the momentum rolling.
On defense, Kenly McDonald anchored the unit with 2 interceptions, while Savannah Lopez added an interception of her own along with a touchdown reception.
With the win, the Lady Falcons finish the season 8–7–1 overall and 8–1–1 in league play, earning their first league championship in program history.
Next up, the Lady Falcons enter the postseason as the #5 seed and will face Putnam Valley High School Girls Flag Football this Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11am.
