GCSD Welcomes Two New Assistant Principals

Greenburgh CSD proudly welcomes two new assistant principals for the 2026-27 school year: Kayla Albritton at Woodlands Middle School and Jessica Bandel at the Early Childhood Program.

Before joining Greenburgh CSD, Ms. Albritton served for several years as assistant principal at the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics in New York City. Drawing on her experience as both a teacher and school leader, she has focused on helping students recognize their strengths, empowering educators to grow in their practice and cultivating school communities where every student feels supported, connected and valued.

The 2026-27 school year marks Ms. Bandel's 17th year in education. Her career began in the classroom, where she taught Pre-K, kindergarten and first grade, building a strong foundation in early childhood education. She later transitioned into literacy coaching with New York City Public Schools and the Briarcliff Manor School District, partnering with teachers to strengthen literacy instruction and create engaging learning experiences for students. Most recently, she served as assistant principal in the City School District of New Rochelle, bringing both instructional expertise and leadership experience to Greenburgh's Early Childhood Program.

We are excited to welcome Ms. Albritton and Ms. Bandel to our district and school community and to watch them both support our students with leadership and enthusiasm!
