Julie Allongue

Current Term of Office: July 1, 2025–June 30, 2028

Family: Greenburgh is home; I live in Hartsdale with my husband, Jean-Didier, and son Raphael, who attends Woodlands Middle/High School.

Occupation: I am the proprietor of Jules’ Mindful Mixtures, a small local business that sells creams and lotions.

Community Involvement: I have served on each GCSD PTA, including as president of the RJ Bailey PTA and as a Trustee on the GCSD Board of Education. While a Trustee, I served as Chair of the Wellness Committee and member of the Audit, Finance, Facilities, and Governance & Policy committees.

Why are you running: My business experience adds value to reviewing strategic decisions, responsible budgets, and effective policies, and I am passionate about public education. Teaching should adapt to each student’s learning needs and dreams. Crafting our schools to prepare students for future challenges benefits students and society. It fosters innovation, grows community bonds, and ensures a skilled workforce. Words need action to feed progress, so I’m rolling my sleeves to work for our students.
