About: As a mother of three actively engaged in our local schools, not to mention a third-generation graduate of the District (my mother is and her father was a graduate of the District as well), I bring a firsthand understanding of the challenges and aspirations of our students, parents, and educators. My professional background in the Accounting/Finance industry equips me with the skills to foster productive partnerships and manage resources effectively. As a matter of fact, I took my very first Accounting class my senior year at Woodlands High School and can honestly say that had that Accounting course not been offered at the time (and a dear friend of mine encouraging me to enroll), I’m not sure which career path I would have taken once I got to college. Having previously served on the Board of Trustees at a local church, I am deeply committed to community involvement and ensuring every voice is heard. I believe in the power of collaboration and advocacy to enhance the educational experience for every child in our District.
